This was the fun we were having before the rain came. The found the biggest snail I have ever seen!
This is the fun we had after the rain started. We ended up in the tent for a couple of hours, but the kids did really well. We played games and told stories. I love being able to spend time with just my kids.
This picture doesn't even come close to showing how much rain we had. Good thing the tents floor held up because it felt like we were on a water bed. The roof of the tent didn't do as good!!!
Playing in the creek is always the highlight of camping! We had such a good time and Bryn actually slept the whole night (which is one of the reasons I always worry about camping with little ones)

I think next summer we will be ready to tent camp with Sydney. This year we just did cabins or hotels. It is no fun when they are little and you have to worry about whether they are keeping others awake!
